I still remember his Black Name,
Years,
Decades,
Days,
and Seconds
after He,
after She,
has been Killed,
Raped,
Defrauded,
Fooled.
Hung like Strange Fruit from all manner of places.


And I still will remember her Black Name
tomorrow,
next month,
this second,
10 Lifetimes from now
after She
after He
in the future coming
will be Killed,
Brutalized,
Trivialized,
DeSensitized
and Forgotten
by those others who didn't want to know his Name,
But I will,
if I still don't remember
nor try
to DO SOMETHING about it
Now,
while unlike her,
unlike him,
I'm still alive...
